The Supreme Court on Wednesday agreed to hear a plea of the wife of an Indian Army officer seeking repatriation of her husband and other Army officers.
They are believed to be held under illegal detention as Prisoners of War (POWs) by Pakistan since the 1971 war.
A bench of justices DY Chandrachud and Surya Kant issued notice to the Centre on the plea.

The court nullified that move due to the New Delhi Declaration signed by the three nations in August the same year.
