Protests in Kashmir News
A wave of peaceful protests swept through the Budgam district of central Kashmir on Saturday, as residents expressed their outrage over the killing of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike.
The protestors have demanded that the Indian government should immediately deport Nadav Lapid back to Israel. Calling Vivek Agnihotri's movie the 'Schindler's List' of India, the Kashmiri Pandits even sought to know if Lapid was actually a Jew.
The authorities have deployed additional security personnel in Srinagar and other violence-prone areas in the Valley to maintain law and order.
Six persons including a senior police officer were injured in clashes between protesters and security personnel in the Kashmir Valley.
