India on Wednesday launched its fifth navigation satellite onboard PSLV-C31 rocket from Sriharikota.
India is reading to launch its fifth regional navigation satellite on Wednesday from its spaceport here, a senior space agency official said on Tuesday.
IRNSS-1E has configuration similar to that of its predecessors IRNSS-1A, 1B, 1C and 1D in which ISRO used the XL version of the rocket.
The 48-hour countdown for the launch of the rocket PSLV-C31 began on Monday morning at 0931 hours at Sriharikota.
