The launch took place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 9.28 am. Taking to Twitter, asserted that the space agency has once again made the nation proud.
After the successful launch, ISRO chief Dr K Sivan expressed his happiness. He said, "I am happy that PSLV-C47 injected precisely in the orbit with 13 other satellites. Cartosat-3 is highest resolution civilian satellite; We have 13 missions up to March- 6 large vehicle missions and 7 satellite missions."
The 13 other satellites were also successfully placed in their designated orbits. "PSLV-C47 successfully injects Cartosat-3 spacecraft into orbit. 13 commercial satellites from USA successfully placed in their designated orbits," tweeted ISRO.
PSLV-C47 will launch Cartosat-3 and 13 commercial nanosatellites into the Sun-synchronous orbit. Cartosat-3 satellite is a third-generation agile advanced satellite having high-resolution imaging capability.
The launch is likely to take place at 9.28 am subject to weather conditions. ISRO took to microblogging site Twitter on Wednesday morning and said, "Propellant filling of the second stage (PS2) of PSLV-C47 completed. Updates will continue..."
ISRO will launch the Cartosat-3 and 13 nanosatellites of the US on the rescheduled date from the second launch pad of the space centre. PSLV-C47 will launch Cartosat-3 and 13 commercial nanosatellites into the Sun-synchronous orbit.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) took to microblogging site Twitter saying, "26 hours countdown for the launch of PSLV-C47 mission commenced today at 0728 Hrs (IST) from SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota. The launch is scheduled at 0928 Hrs IST on November 27, 2019. Updates will continue..."
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Monday took to microblogging site Twitter to post pictures of India`s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV-C47, mapping its journey from the vehicle assembly building towards the launch pad.
