Bhagwant Mann will take oath as 25th CM of Punjab at Khatar Kalan, the birthplace of legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
Bhagwant Mann was on Friday unanimously elected as the leader of the AAP's legislature party in Punjab and he will meet the governor on Saturday to stake claim to form the government in the state.
Mann has earlir said the oath-taking ceremony will be held at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in the Nawanshahr district.
Mann won from the Dhuri seat by a huge margin of 58,206 votes

“We accept the people's verdict. We'll hold a meeting to introspect the results. We'll support Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab,” SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal said as his party ended up with its worst-ever showing at the polls as its tally plummeted to three.
"I have tendered my resignation to the governor," said Channi, who went to the Raj Bhawan to hand over his resignation, a day after the election results.
As per the ECI data, Malvika Sood was defeated by AAP’s Dr Amandeep Kaur Arora by over 20,000 votes from the Moga seat.
Even as the Aam Aadmi Party is showing a dismal performance in the early trends in two of the three states where it was contesting the Assembly elections, the party leaders in the national capital are rejoicing over the trends in Punjab where it is heading for a comfortable victory.
In early trends, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, state Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu and Punjab Lok Congress leader Amarinder Singh are trailing from Chamkur Sahib, Amritsar East, and Patiala seats respectively.
Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took a big lead in Punjab and was ahead in 79 seats out of 117 with several heavyweights, including Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, trailing behind its nominees in many seats, according to early trends.
