Congress' Navjot Singh Sidhu has retained his candidature from his traditional seat of Amritsar East for the upcoming Punjab polls, that are scheduled for February 14. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. 

The process of nomination will start from today for the assembly elections to be held in Punjab next month. Candidates will be able to file nominations till February 1. Only two people will be allowed to accompany the candidate who has filed the nomination papers.

The Aam Aadmi Party chief also attacked Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi and said that they will not cry like him.

Kejriwal said that Bhagwant Mann was chosen on the basis of responses they received under their campaign to elect AAP's CM face for the Assembly polls.

Navjot Singh Sidhu has slammed Arvind Kejriwal. Punjab Congress chief said Delhi CM is a 'migratory bird'. He also claimed that Kejriwal had no roadmap for Punjab and he wants to run the state with remote control from Delhi.
