Quad meeting begins in Tokyo. PM Modi said in the opening address at the Quad that in a short span of time, the Quad has made an important place. Mutual cooperation is encouraged. He said that the potential of the quad is very wide. It's a privilege to be among friends in Tokyo. Biden addressed after PM Modi in the Quad meeting.

"The Leaders will have an opportunity to continue their dialogue after the September 2021 Summit in Washington DC," the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

The leaders will review the Quad Vaccine initiative which was announced in March this year
They will also take stock of the progress made since their first virtual summit on March 12, 2021
