Himachal Landslide 2023: In Himachal Pradesh, the situation seems to be getting out of control due to continuous floods and rains. Pictures of landslides have come to the fore in Mandi district due to continuous rains for two days. Due to this the Chandigarh-Manali highway has been closed.

Himachal Rain Fury: Floods and rains are wreaking havoc in Himachal Pradesh. Due to heavy rains, flood like situation is being seen and many vehicles are stuck in heavy jam.

Torrential rainfall battered Tamil Nadu on Thursday leaving Chennai flooded the next day. CM MK Stalin also reviewed the waterlogging situation and assured the people that the problem would be resolved. As the heavy rainfall continued in Chennai and in several suburbs, traffic congestion was also witnessed.

The rains have caused extensive damage to Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Tumakuru, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagar, Hassan districts of Karnataka. 

PM Modi expressed condolences to the families of the bereaved. Red Alert issued for five districts in the state, Kottayam and Idukki worst hit. CM Vijayan urged people in the state to take all precautions against the rain.

Sharp showers pounded Tankara taluka of Gurjarat's Morbi district in a short span of time. The rainwater breached several check dams, leading to heavy water-logging.
