"The southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Punjab; some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan and entire Delhi," India Meteorological Department said.

According to the IMD, a fresh spell of enhanced rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy falls likely to commence over Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal from 20th September and extend to Eastcentral & East India during subsequent 3-4 days.

Eastern parts of the country are also likely to receive heavy showers till September 20. Western parts of the country, including the ghat areas of Maharashtra, are also expected to witness similar weather conditions. Subdued rainfall activity is likely over South Peninsular and northeast India during the next five days.
