The BJP MPs, now victorious in state politics, have opted to vacate their parliamentary seats, symbolizing a commitment to their newly acquired responsibilities at the state level.

Sources confirmed that Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has been called to Delhi and he will be going to the national Capital soon.

The Prime Minister said the people are moving forward to make India a developed country and "we have today taken together a strong step in that direction".

Gehlot's tweet began by expressing gratitude towards the people of Rajasthan for their decisive mandate.

Raje, who won the Jhalrapatan assembly constituency by a margin of 53,193 votes, also said that the people have given a chance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to serve them in 2024.

Polling in 199 out of 200 assembly seats in the state was held on November 25.

Ashok Gehlot pointed out that while BJP candidates are getting ready for the assembly polls, agencies like the ED are keeping Congress leaders busy with investigations during election time.

The polling for Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023 was scheduled to be inducted on November 23 however the Election Commission has now changed the date to November 25.
