Rupert Murdoch owned top-selling British tabloid 'The Sun' has done a U-turn on its policy by scrapping its paywall and offering most of its website content for free.

 Mazher Mahmood, a British journalist whose undercover work posing as a "fake sheikh" led to a number of high-profile criminal court cases, was charged on Tuesday with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

British ex-editor Rebekah Brooks, the fiery redhead who resigned over a tabloid phone-hacking scandal, will return to Rupert Murdoch`s News Corp as head of its UK division, the company said on Wednesday.

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch's News Corp is believed to be in talks with former 'News of the World' editor Rebekah Brooks for her return as chief of its UK division four years after she had quit amid the phone-hacking scandal, a newspaper reported.

Both were former editors of Murdoch`s News of the World, the 168-year-old tabloid the media mogul closed in July 2011.
