NHAI recently signed a Rs 5,729 crore agreement with a private infrastructure firm for the development of the 121 km Guwahati Ring Road under the Build-Operate-Toll (BOT) mode. 

Ayodhya Ring Road Project: Since the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the city has witnessed a massive boost in its visitors' count. With more people coming to the city, the traffic has also significantly increased. Now, to ease the traffic and give people better road connectivity, the Uttar Pradesh government is working on the Ayohdya's first ring road project. 

Low-lying areas of Delhi are inundated after continuous release of water from Hathnikud Barrage in Haryana. Taking historic steps, the Delhi government had already evacuated 27,000 people from Yamuna. Now due to rising water level of Yamuna, the water has reached the ring road.

Delhi Flood: The water level of Yamuna has increased due to the increase in the water level of Yamuna, now the water of Yamuna has reached the reach of Ring Road, while due to continuous increase in water, many areas situated on the banks of Yamuna have been submerged.

In recent times, many accidents have reportedly occurred on the Lajpat Nagar flyover due to the gap.

Delhi is witnessing heavy traffic jams on Tuesday evening - all thanks to the Diwali festive season.

The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus stand is located on the Ring Road at Lajpat Nagar.

The repair work is to last about a month, during which the flyover will be shut down, a senior police officer said on Friday.
