Rishabh Pant has been officially appointed as the new captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ahead of the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Pant, who formerly captained Delhi Capitals, was secured by LSG for a record-breaking Rs 27 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction.

He has taken part in 111 games for Delhi and has collected 3284 runs at an average of 35.
