During the last ten days, the Sai Baba devotees also donated over Rs 1.52 crore.
As per a report, the total cash donation was recorded at Rs 1,52,57,102.
Besides this, 64 gm gold worth Rs 2,85,629 was also donated along with 2.8 kg silver worth Rs 93,000.
Due to the COVID-19 safety protocols, the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust will only allow 6,000 devotees per day and 900 devotees per hour.
The devotees will have to apply online for the 'darshan' or can also take a token from the counter at Shirdi.
Wearing face masks will be mandatory for every devotee along with following necessary social distancing protocol.
Due to the coronavirus COVID-19 lockdown, the Sai Baba Mandir Trust at Shirdi has incurred a loss of more than Rs 1.5 crores daily. Since the closure of the temple, from March 17 to May 3, the temple trust has received Rs 2.53 crores and a few thousand rupees through online donations which is about Rs 6 lakhs daily.
Sai Baba Temple of Shirdi has received donations worth Rs 5.97 crore in three days.
VHP leader Sadhvi Prachi on Saturday said here women should be allowed entry into temples but they may be restricted during the periods.
Shirdi Sai Baba temple is the one of the richest shrines in the country, owns about 380 kg of gold in total.
The miracle in question happened on Tuesday when a few devotees saw water flowing from Baba’s finger.
