While hearing the case of the Sambhal Jama Masjid on March 12, the Allahabad High Court gave permission to whitewash the mosque from the outside and also decorate it with lights without tampering with anything.
The celebrations of the Hindu festival of Holi concluded peacefully in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. Along with Holi, the Friday prayers were also conducted in peace on the occasion of the holy Ramzan month’s second Jumma at the Shahi Jama Masjid.

Sambhal's Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shreesh Chandra, speaking to media persons said adequate security arrangements have been put in place for maintaining peace and harmony during Holi celebrations in Sambhal.
The Allahabad High Court did not pass an order for the whitewashing of the mosque.
Owaisi took to social media to slam the state government for its apparent allocation of funds, pointing out that it seemed to focus on building police posts and liquor bars rather than essential infrastructure like schools and hospitals.
