Actress Rhea Chakraborty was questioned by the National Control Bureau (NCB) at its Mumbai office for over six hours in connection with drug abuse linked to Sushant Singh Rajput death case. 

"He will be produced before court tomorrow at 11 am," Deputy Director, Narcotics Control Bureau, was quoted as saying by ANI. Earlier in the day, a CBI team arrived at Sushant's Mont Blanc residence at Bandra which was accompanied by a team of AIIMS doctors, forensic team, Sushant's elder sister Meetu Singh, cook-caretaker Neeraj Singh, cook Keshav and actor's friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani. According to sources, the central probe agency, which is investigating Sushant's death case, recreated the crime scene once again.

When asked questions about Rhea during the press conference, NCB said that they will send summons to Rhea Chakraborty soon and no culprit will be left. Answers of all the accused will be linked in front of them.

Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda will remain in NCB custody until 9 September. Drugs peddler Zaid and Abdul Basit are also on remand of NCB till 9 September. NCB shared information through a Press Conference.

 The duo was arrested in connection with the drug probe related to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. 

KPS Malhotra, Deputy Director, Narcotics Control Bureau said, "We have arrested Showik and Samuel Miranda only after having solid evidence against them. We have procured digital proof suggesting their involvement in the drugs conspiracy and that is why the arrest has been made."

An NCB official said that the agency will seek their custody for interrogation and to confront them with the other arrested accused. The official said that the duo will also be grilled over information from seized laptops and chats obtained by the agency.

Samuel Miranda earlier told the Mumbai Police and CBI that Sushant Singh's sister and her husband Siddharth had appointed him as a house manager of Sushant Samuel previously worked on a Royal Caribbean cruise, and after leaving the job, he got this job through a consultancy firm. His job was to manage the house and for that, he used to get a monthly salary of Rs 80,000 The NCB is currently headed by Rakesh Asthana, who has been the special director of CBI. The drug connection of the Sushant Singh case is being investigated under his supervision

According to reports, Showik and Samuel Miranda will be produced in a court on Saturday.
