Manika Batra, PV Sindhu, Harmanpreet Kaur's India women cricket team and India women hockey team will be in action on Day 1 of the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Squash players Saurav Ghosal, Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal are genuine medal contenders at CWG and Asiad this year and were part of TOPS heading into the two multi-sporting events back in 2018.
Ghosal said the plan is not to think too far ahead and keep working hard to stay where he is.

Chinappa, who who had slipped to 12th after initially breaking into top-10 in July, has regained the position even as Pallikal held on to the 19th position.
Women's champion Joshna Chinappa supported Ghosal's views, saying squash deserved its place in the Olympics.
Pallikal feels that it's a matter of respect rather than money.
