The auspicious month of Shravan or Sawan is about to end
This year, it began from July 25, with July 26 being the first Monday of Sawan month

The last Monday of Sawan this year is on August 16.
Raksha Bandhan coincides with Shravan Purnima - which falls on August 22.
Today, August 9, marks the third Monday of the Sawan month and is considered to be auspicious. A large number of devotees were seen gathering outside temples to offer their prayers today.
This year Sawan starts from July 25 (Sunday) after completion of Aashad month on July 24, 2021. Sawan will end on Sunday, 22 August.
