Sensex opening News

Indian stock indices traded marginally lower Friday morning. It largely due to profit booking by investors and in line with weak global cues. Sensex traded at 63,109.24 points, down 174.95 points or 0.28 per cent, whereas Nifty traded at 18,762.50 points.

Indian markets opened in green Friday snapping the last two days weak trend. Sensex was at 60,860 up by 24.36 points and Nifty up to 18,073. MCX Gold and Silver futures were also trading with positive bias.

Sensex, Nifty open on positive note amid the festival season boost. Sensex climbs to 626 points to 59,036. NSE Nifty surges to 17,493 by climbing 181 points.

Benchmark Indexes seen strong rebound on Friday amid festival season. Sensex opened at 58,322 points while Nifty at 17,322 points. Earlier on Thursday, benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty closed in red.

Sensex fell down by 400 points. Nifty also suffered loss as it stands below 14,800. Among sectoral indices, banks, metals, financial services, and auto suffered loss, while gains were seen in Nifty IT and Nifty Pharma.

Indian benchmark indices opened on positive note on Thursday with the Sensex gaining 289.72 points or 0.82% at 35704.17, and the Nifty advancing was up 84.20 points or 0.81% at 10514.20. About 796 shares have advanced, 274 shares declined, and 34 shares are unchanged.

Indian benchmark indices opened higher on Thursday (May 28) with the Sensex gaining 139.93 points or 0.44% at 31745.15, and the Nifty advancing 39.45 points or 0.42% at 9354.40.

Indian indices opened in green on Monday (April 27) with the BSE Sensex gaining 544.57 points or 1.74% at 31871.79, and the Nifty up 158.05 points or 1.73% at 9,312.45. About 749 shares advanced, 161 shares declined, and 35 shares remained unchanged.

Indian equity markets opened flat on Thursday (April 23) with the S&P BSE Sensex rising 110 points, or 0.3 per cent, to 31,450 and the Nity50 index was around 9,210 levels.
