Shreehari Aney News
Shiv Sena, an ally of BJP, on Wednesday said it will not allow Shreehari Aney to enter Marathwada, a day after he quit as Maharashtra Advocate General following controversy over his remarks on separate Marathwada.
Shreehari Aney, who resigned as Maharashtra Advocate General after a furore over his separate Marathwada remarks, Wednesday cautioned the government on "legislating morality" on the dance bars issue.
The Shiv Sena said that they will continue to protest against him until he apologises to the people of Maharashtra.
Maharashtra Advocate General Shreehari Aney's demand for separate Marathwada state today led to ruckus in the state Assembly which was adjourned thrice as Congress-NCP and Shiv Sena raised slogans and demanded Aney's resignation.
Coming down heavily on Maharashtra Advocate General Shreehari Aney, Shiv Sena on Friday said that by submitting that the state machinery has been "inept" in stopping farmers' suicides, he has made Maharashtra government seem "unworthy" in front of the Bombay High Court.
