From a virile sperm donor in 'Vicky Donor' to a person suffering from erectile dysfunction in "Shubh Mangal Savdhan", and from a blind musician in "AndhaDhun" to an idealistic cop in "Article 15", Ayushmann Khurrana has proved his range has an actor.

Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurana, Bhumi Pednekar starrer romantic comedy 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan' directed by R.S. Prasanna, completed a year of release on Saturday. Both the actors got nostalgic and shared posts to remember their film.

Bhumi is glad that "Lust Series" is releasing digitally instead of coming out on another medium.

Pednekar took to Twitter Wednesay morning to share a still from the sets of the film and thus unveil her look in the Abhishek Chaubey directorial.  

Director R S Prasanna says Ayushmann Khurrana is an actor he can trust, especially when it comes to small-budget films like their recent release "Shubh Mangal Savdhan".

'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' is the official remake of a Tamil Movie 'Kalyana Samayal Saadham'. Its storyline revolves around an NCR guy who suddenly starts suffering from erectile dysfunction after getting engaged.

Stories which are relatable find a greater audience connect and especially if the subject has not been touched upon at all. RS Prassana's 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' (SMS) is one such success story at the Box Office.

His latest "Shubh Mangal Saavdhan" is being hailed for tackling the issue of erectile dysfunction and now director R S Prasanna says he already has an idea for his next, which will be on a "controversial" topic.

'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' presented a quirky love story between Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar at the backdrop of the never-addressed issue of erectile dysfunction.

This season seems to be kicking off the brilliant desi flavours projected in our films. And that explains why movies like 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and now 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' have hit a right chord amongst the audiences.
