Scaling up its agitation for the special category status to Andhra Pradesh, the Congress will launch a campaign wherein it will sent one crore SMSes to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union ministers from the state.

Steps taken by authorities to rein in pesky calls and SMSes seem to be bearing fruit with the average number of complaints received per month regarding such unsolicited communications coming down by over 80 percent in the ongoing financial year.

Cyber security sleuths have alerted Android-based smart phone users against an infectious Trojan virus which steals vital information from the personal device and can even illegally send SMSes to those on the mobile contact list.
