Sony India has confirmed that the PlayStation 5 will not take the second round of pre-orders before its launch.
The PS5 was launched on November 12, 2020, in key markets.

Sony on Friday announced that it will launch PlayStation 5 in India on February 2.
Pre-order requests for the new gaming console will start from January 12.

The event is set to focus on some of the great games coming to PS5 at launch and the company is also expected to disclose the PS5 price and its confirmed release date.
According to The Verge, the company will broadcast a 40-minute "digital showcase" that will include updates from first-party Sony game studios and third-party partners.
The event starts 1 pm PT (1.30 am India time on September 17).
