Russia has suspended its manned space program on Thursday until the investigation is pending into the rocket failure, ANI reported.
The rocket took off from Kazakhstan and was on its way to the International Space Station.
Buying these seats for 2017 and 2018 missions will increase US crew size on the ISS from three to four and maximise ISS science utilisation.
All three will spend approximately four months on the orbital complex, returning to Earth in October.
