A big decision has been taken in the ongoing session of Congress in Raipur. The Congress President has been authorized to constitute the CWC in the Steering Committee meeting.

The committee, which was set up in September 2017, submitted its report on 5G connectivity in the country to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

The initiative will begin with 6 districts, including Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri in Maharashtra, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Muzaffarpur in Bihar, Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and Solan in Himachal Pradesh.
