Aleem Dar played first-class cricket in Pakistan for over a decade as an all-rounder before taking up the role of umpire.
Last year, the 52-year-old surpassed his idol Steve Bucknor to the top of the Test umpires’ list.
On Friday, Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 26 runs in the first ODI at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The 51-year-old will stand in his 129th Test match as an on-field umpire since making his debut in Dhaka in 2003 during England’s tour of Bangladesh.

Dar has also been named ICC Umpire Of the Year on three occasions - 2009, 2010 and 2011.
