BJP MP Subhas Sarkar's car was attacked by unidentified assailants with stones and bricks in Bankura district of West Bengal. Following the incident, an FIR was registered at Bankura Police Station and an investigation has been launched into the matter.   

The BJP is planning to shift its state headquarters to a nearby spacious place, ahead of the Lok Sabha poll, due next year
