The quake logged 4 in some parts of Fukushima Prefecture on the Japanese seismic intensity scale which peaks at 7. So far no tsunami warning has been issued. According to the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ), the quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles) in Indonesia.

An Indonesian volcano spewed a giant ash cloud 5 km (3.1 miles) into the sky on Monday in its second eruption in three days, emitting a thunderous noise and turning the sky dark, authorities and witnesses said.
