Super blood moon News

The world witnessed a full moon on Wednesday (May 26) along with the first lunar eclipse of 2021. A full lunar eclipse coincided with a supermoon, which is when the moon is particularly close to Earth and appears brighter than normal.  

The moon appears red, known as a "blood moon", as light is scattered through the Earth`s atmosphere, much like during sunset Skygazers in all of Australia and New Zealand and parts of Southeast Asia can see the eclipse on May 26 evening

The first lunar eclipse of 2021 will be on May 26. It will be a super celestial event with an eclipse, a supermoon and a red blood moon. The super event will be visible from India but only the penumbral phase.

On May 26, 2021, there will be a lunar eclipse that coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth — making it a "supermoon" eclipse. The total eclipse, or the time when the moon is in deepest shadow, will last for about 15 minutes. The westernmost locations to see the eclipse are India, Sri Lanka, western China and Mongolia.
