The Aam Aadmi Party, which is opposing the central government's ordinance on the transfer and posting of Delhi Administrative Service officers, has got the support of the Congress. The Congress has called it an attempt to break the federal structure. Before joining the Congress, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal had asked the Congress to keep its stand. Now the Aam Aadmi Party will also participate in the meeting of opposition parties to be held in Bengaluru.
The Aam Aadmi Party has got the support of the Congress in protesting against the central government's ordinance on the control of administrative services in Delhi. Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda has said that we are against the attack on the federal structure, the central government has been attacking the federal structure for the last 9 years.
The Delhi government had filed a petition in the Supreme Court, challenging the constitutionality of the central government's ordinance regarding the transfer posting of officers in Delhi. On which the Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Central Government and the LG, postponing the demand for a ban. Supreme Court has ordered to file a reply in 2 weeks. Along with this, permission has also been given to make the LG office a party.
