With this, the total number of patients affected by the H1N1 virus in the city during this monsoon season has reached 51 and at least 28 people are currently being treated in different hospitals.
The report further mentions that India has witnessed 345 deaths due to swine flu till May 7 this year as compared to 265 deaths in 2016.
The Michigan strain, which has been in circulation in the USA for the last two years, has been identified in Hyderabad and other other parts of India.
As six persons are already undergoing treatment in the hospital, four more, including two women were admitted last evening, hospital sources said.
In Gujarat, ten new cases of Swine flu have been reported across the state during the last 24 hours.
