Two missing clerics from Delhi's famed Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah finally returned home from Pakistan on Monday, ending a tensed moment for the family members over their brief disappearance.

In what may spark a fresh controversy, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on Monday claimed that the two Indian clerics, who had gone missing in Pakistan, are working against the nation.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday confirmed that Syed Nazim Ali Nizami is in Karachi and Nizamuddin Dargah clerics will be back in Delhi on Monday.

Pakistan on Friday conveyed to India that it was "seriously pursuing" with its law enforcement agencies the case of two missing Indian clerics, an issue External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said has been taken up with the "highest level" in the Pakistani government.

Head cleric Asif Nizami and Nazim Nizami went missing in Pakistan, during their visit to Lahore`s Data Darbar.

After two Indian Sufi clerics, including Syed Asif Ali Nizami, the head priest of New Delhi`s Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah, went missing in Pakistan since Thursday evening, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday said that she has taken up the matter with Islamabad.
