Haryana held an all-party meeting here on Thursday, which resolved to call on President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to seek early implementation of Supreme Court verdict on the issue.

Amid an escalating water row between Punjab and Haryana, BJP legislators from Haryana on Wednesday met Punjab Governor V.P. Singh Badnore to seek blocking of a move by the Punjab government to de-notify land acquired nearly four decades ago for the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Saturday described the submission of resignation letters by Congress MLAs, to protest the Supreme Court ruling on SYL issue, as "political stunt" and also claimed that AAP is a party of "hypocrites and opportunists".

Amarinder told reporters that the party had unanimously decided to stand by its earlier decision that all MLAs will resign en block in the event of the SC's decision going against Punjab.
