In the latest Player Rankings for T20Is, Pakistan captain Babar Azam reclaimed the top spot in the list for batters after just one week of losing it.

India are already the number one ranked Test team while the Kohli-led side is ranked second in the 50-over format. Australia have slipped to the third spot and it is now just one point behind India. In T20I batsmen rankings, KL Rahul has slipped one position and he is now at the third spot.

England completed a 3-0 series clean sweep away against South Africa on Tuesday (Dec 1). They thus, completed a series white wash over South Africa at their own back yard. With the series win, England have reached the number one spot in the T20I rankings.

Malan has become No.1 T20I batsman after a series-topping run aggregate of 129 in the three-match series between England and Australia. Malan's power hitting performance in the T20I series also saw him being add as a reserve in the ODI squad for the upcoming three-match series between England and Australia. The southpaw has notched up eight scores of fifty or more than that in just 16 appearances he made for England in the shortest format of the game at an average of 48.17.

However, India still lead the ICC World Test Championship, a league comprising six series played by each of the top nine Test sides.

Over the last 12 months, 265 women`s T20Is have been played by 50 countries. Denmark (40th) and Mexico (41st) are the biggest gainers in the T20I rankings table with eight points each.

Yadav accounted for well-set openers Tim Seifert and Colin Munro in the only match he played during the three-match series against New Zealand. 

Sodhi finished with impressive figures of three for 30 during his side's 35-run victory over Sri Lanka in the lone T20I match in Auckland to climb up two places to the fourth spot in the updated ICC rankings.  

India defeated England by 7 wickets in the final T20I match to claim series. This was its sixth consecutive series win in the format. India is ranked 2 in T20Is. India's last T20I series defeat came in July of 2017 in a one-off match vs hosts West Indies.

Celebrations in the Australian camp following their tri-series final win against New Zealand on Wednesday became subdued after it emerged they had not become the number one team in T20I cricket. 

Munro finished as the leading run-scorer in the series against West Indies with 223 runs, while Sodhi grabbed three wickets.

India captain Virat Kohli lost his pole position in the latest ICC T20 Rankings as his absence due to personal commitments led to loss of 48 ranking points. Meanwhile, India's 3-0 win over Sri Lanka enabled them to move up from their pre-series tally of 119 points to 121 points.

Kohli is comfortably placed with 820 points but Maxwell has moved to 763 points, just eight less than Finch.

A series win against neighbors Sri Lanka helped India to remain at the top with 122 points.

David Warner, who scored 17 in the opening match before heading to New Zealand for the one-day international series against the Black Caps, dropped six spots to 18th.
