The Supreme Court said Delhi riots accused Tahir Hussain shall be released from jail as per the jail manual upon the deposit of the expenses i.e. around 2 lakh for 12 hours.
The allegations against Tahir are that he played a role in instigating the mob.
Additional Sessions Judge Pulastya Pramachala was hearing the case registered at the Dayalpur Police Station against 11 accused, including Hussain, on the complaint lodged by the officer's father.
Delhi Riots: Tahir Hussain has been charged with the offence of funding the riots using money laundered through illegal means. The former MCD councillor has not pleaded guilty, according to ANI. Hussain allegedly conspired to engage in money laundering and the proceeds generated from the crime were used in the riots in northeast Delhi, according to the investigators.
AAP leader Tahir Hussain's petition challenged the trial court's November 3 order by which charges for the alleged offence under Sections 3 (offence of money laundering) and 4 (punishment for the offence of money laundering) of the PMLA were framed against him.

Hussain has been in judicial custody in the cases since March 16 this year.
ED was probing allegation that Hussain and his linked persons laundered about Rs 1.10 crore by using purported shell or dummy companies to fuel protests against the CAA and the riots.
Judge directed that Hussain and Gupta be produced in court on October 19.
"There is prima facie sufficient incriminating material about the involvement of the accused persons. Thus, cognizance of the offence under section 3 read with Section 70, punishable under Section 4 of PMLA, 2002 is taken against accused Tahir Hussain and accused Amit Gupta," the court said.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police, which filed a fresh chargehseet on northeast Delhi riots, mentioned transactions of over Rs 1 crore received by accused persons Tahir Hussain, Ishrat Jahan, Khalid Saifi, Shafa-ur-Rahman and Meeran Haider through a bank account or cash from December 2019 to February 2020.

The ED custody of Tahir Hussain, a key accused in the northeast Delhi violence which took place in February this year, was earlier extended by three days.
The accused had moved a plea in the High Court claiming the extension of ED remand was illegal.
Hussain was arrested in connection with the riots in northeast Delhi in February. He has also been booked under the UAPA in a conspiracy case related to the riots
Tahir Hussain was also arrested in connection with the alleged murder of IB official Ankit Sharma during the riots
Communal clashes had broken out in northeast Delhi on Feb 24 after violence between citizenship law supporters and protesters spiralled out of control, leaving at least 53 people dead and around 200 injured
The suspended AAP councillor was arrested by the agency to in connection with ongoing PMLA investigation into his role in money laundering and funding of anti-CAA protests and organising riots in northeast Delhi on February 24-25 this year.
The court asked the Tihar Jail superintendent as well as the IO to intimate it about the time when the custody of the accused is handed over to the police officials concerned
The court permitted Hussain's counsel to confer with him for a period not exceeding half an hour at the beginning of the ED custody
"After expiry of the ED custody, the IO shall hand over the custody of the accused to the jail superintendent who shall follow the protocol regarding the COVID-19," it said
