Railways on Wednesday said that though the trail of Spainish Talgo train is successful, it can be pressed into service only after a few modifications as it has less width and low footboard height.
The train left at 2.45 PM today and will aim for its schedule arrival at Mumbai Central at 2.49 AM.
The train with Railway and Spanish officials onboard will depart from Delhi at 14:45 hours and aim to reach Mumbai at 03:21 hours on August 6.
On its return journey, the train will start on August 3 from Mumbai at 3 PM and will reach New Delhi the next day at 5 PM with the speed of 130 kmph.
Talgo has ample legroom, comfortable seats, convenient reclining chair –all of which makes you feel like a king.
Spanish-made high-speed train Talgo on Tuesday completed its third and final phase of trials from New Delhi to Mumbai, but arrived at its destination over three hours behind schedule.
Spanish-made train Talgo reached Mumbai today at around 11.30 AM rather than a scheduled arrival time of 10 AM.
