Here is the full list of candidates contesting the Lok Sabha election in 2019 from Tamluk Lok Sabha Constituency of West Bengal.

In 2014 Lok Sabha election, Trinamool Congress's Suvendu Adhikari had won the Tamluk Lok Sabha constituency with a massive margin of 246481 votes. However, bypolls were necessitated after Suvendu Adhikari won the West Bengal assembly election from Nandigram and became a state minister in 2016. 

Counting of votes took place on Tuesday for 4 Lok Sabha and 8 Assembly Constituencies, spread across six States and one Union Territory where bypolls were held on Saturday.

West Bengal`s ruling Trinamool Congress candidates were way ahead of rivals in the vote count on Tuesday to the two Lok Sabha seats and one Assembly seat where by-polls were held on Saturday.

Barring sporadic incidents of violence and allegations of booth capturing, polling in the three constituencies was mostly peaceful.

Voting for by-elections in two Lok Sabha constituencies and one Assembly seat in West Bengal began on Saturday morning under the shadow of the Centre's demonetisation drive.

At least ten persons have died and four others have fallen sick allegedly after consuming spurious liquor in Tamluk of East Midnapore District of West Bengal.
