The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially released the schedule for the 2025-27 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle. Spanning two years, the new edition promises 71 Test matches involving nine top cricketing nations. Steve Smith has been appointed as the captain of Australia since regular skipper Pat Cummins is unavailable for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

The much-awaited ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played from February 19 in Pakistan and the UAE. The eight teams are divided into two groups for the tournament's opening stage.
