During their address in the program, both leaders made big statements related to the now-nixed language policy and several other points. 

Raj and Uddhav Thackeray reunited after two decades to oppose the Maharashtra government's three-language policy, forcing a rollback of Hindi as the default third language. Their joint stand has sparked speculation about a possible political realignment in the state ahead of crucial civic elections.
