 Delhi Police has launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter, leveraging advanced technological tools to trace the origin of the calls.

Threat calls are coming from Canada to the members of the committee formed by the Supreme Court regarding the farmers' movement.

A Kolkata resident, who was arrested on Friday for allegedly threatening Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, had also made similar calls at residences of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and NCP chief Sharad Pawar, the Maharashtra ATS said. The accused, Palash Bose, had projected himself to be a member of Dawood Ibrahim's gang while allegedly making these phone calls earlier this month, the ATS officials said. According to ATS, Bose (49) had lived in Dubai for more than 15 years and returned to Kolkata a few years ago.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has again received threat calls over Kangana Ranaut row Deshmukh received the calls from Himachal Pradesh and another location from different numbers on Tuesday and at around 6 am on Wednesday. The sources said that the anonymous callers threatened the minister not to get involved in the controversy involving the actress.

A local AIADMK MLA today alleged he was receiving threat calls over phone for voting in favour of Edappadi K Palaniswami government in the Assembly.

The Rajya Sabha member had earlier claimed to have received threat calls on CPI (M) head office land line number on February 15 in connection with the varsity row.
