The newly elected Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister accused the outgoing YSRCP government, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, of gross mismanagement inTirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) temple trust.

Chief Justice of India along with his family, was accorded welcome on his arrival at the main entrance of the temple amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by Veda pundits.

In the backdrop of Covid-19 lockdown, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) followed the guidelines by the Central govt. TTD resumed Darshan in June, since then it has been receiving a huge number of emails and appeals from devotees. TTD decided to resume the Balaji Darshan but within the framework of Covid-19 guidelines and all health safeguards prescribed by the authorities.

The annual Brahmotsavam of Srivari temple at Tirumala from September 19-27 with Ankurarpanam on September 18 and Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on September 15. TTD has made extensive publicity for devotees especially coming from Tamil Nadu as part of the Peritasi holy month and other neighbouring states, that they should all possess online Srivari darshan tickets, which is mandatory to get entry into Tirumala. The Chief Vigilance and Security Officer of TTD said special vigilance steps have been made for the protection of golden Rathams and wooden chariots present in the 49 TTD temples across the country and CC Camera Surveillance has also been enhanced on 24x7 basis.
