Toni Nadal News
World number one Rafa Nadal embarks on a new era without his coach and uncle in the players' box at the Australian Open but the Spaniard said he would always welcome advice from his lifelong mentor with open arms.
"There is more difference between one and two than between nine and 10," Toni, 57, said in an interview with a small group of reporters in the hospitality lounge of one of the French Open`s sponsors, Lavazza coffee, at Roland Garros on Tuesday.
Nadal, the current world number nine, plays Germany's Florian Mayer in the first round on Tuesday.
Nadal will begin his new season at a six-man event in Abu Dhabi from December 29 to 31.
Toni added that Nadal still has a month of preparation before facing the 2017 season and hopes to do well in both Indian Wells and Miami.
