The recent victory has lifted Juventus to second place in Serie A standings with 20 points from 10 games, two ahead of Inter Milan.

Inter, who face Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, move up to fifth place on 15 points, while Torino are 18th with five points.

Zappacosta joined Chelsea from Serie A side Torino in 2017 and has made 52 appearances for the club in all competitions, although he was limited to four league matches last season.

The former Italy international has been the subject of widespread speculation in the Italian media that he is set to be replaced at the end of the season after a poor end to the campaign.
