Reports stated the collision caused the engine of one of them to flip over to another track and hit a passenger train.  

Bangladesh Train Accident: A terrible train accident has been witnessed in Bangladesh. This accident happened due to a collision between two trains. About 15 people have died in this accident.

The now viral video shows a train colliding to the semi-truck with a tractor on it, after which the tractor gets tossed in the air with debris and a cloud dust covering the surroundings.

As per the visuals, several wagons and engine of a goods train derailed in the accident.

An official statement said that the system is based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and existing optical fibres will be used as sensors to identify movements of wild animals at locations.  

Senior officials said that 13 to 14 bogies were derailed in the accident while six to eight "completely destroyed" The Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the military, said army doctors and ambulances were participating in the rescue operation

At least 30 people, including women, have been killed while 50 others injured in the incident, Ghotki Deputy Commissioner Usman Abdullah told reporters. An emergency has been declared at hospitals in Ghotki, Dharki, Obaro and Mirpur Mathelo where the injured were rushed.

One carriage was travelling at 20 kilometers per hour (12.4 mph) and another at around 40 kilometers per hour (24.8 mph) when the collision happened The vacant carriage had a driver while the train with passengers was a fully-automated and controlled by the operation center

Udayan Express which was heading towards the southern port city of Chittagong and one bound for Dhaka collided at Mondobhag Railway Station in Brahmanbaria, crumpling three compartments of the train. the rescue operation is underway, many people are reported to be trapped under coaches.
