Travelling during festive season, mainly driven by visiting friends and relatives (VFR), has caught on with as many as 65 per cent people booking at least two months in advance compared to 53 per cent during summers holidays, according to a survey.

For the survey Worldpay polled 2,000 travellers and it revealed that around 78 per cent of Indians selected their travel destinations because of availability of cheap flights and holidays.
