The opposition TMC and CPI(M) failed to open their account in the AMC.
Counting is underway in other municipal bodies.

As per ECI, 81.52 per cent voting turnout was reported.

"The poll date for civic bodies in the state is scheduled to be held on November 25 from 7 am to 4 pm. Counting will be held on November 28, which will commence from 8 am," said Tripura SEC ML Dey.
Tripura's ruling Left Front led by the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) on Saturday swept the civic polls across the state, winning all the 20 local government bodies, including Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC).
Polling for the civic bodies in Tripura started on Wednesday amid tight security.
As many as 886 candidates of different political parties and independents are in fray for the 20 civic bodies including the 49-member Agartala Municipal Corporation, Member Secretary of the State Election Commission, Tamal Mazumder said.
Civic polls in the Left-ruled Tripura on Wednesday will see tight security measures across the state.
