Twitter employees working long hours after Musk's Twitter takeover. One employee shared a video of a senior manager sleeping on Twitter's office floor. Elon Musk after takeover had told employees to work 12 hours, 7 days a week.

Twitter has acknowledged that 100 staff will be laid off. Approximately 100 workers have lost their jobs at the company. The layoff occurred just weeks after Musk stated that Twitter needed to get healthy, implying possible layoffs.

Parag Agarwal will earn a compensation package worth $38.7 million if he gets fired. Elon Musk intends to employ a new CEO after the deal is completed. Agarwal praised Twitter staff for their efforts to improve the site throughout the years.

Musk has pitched lenders on slashing board and executive salaries but exact cost cuts remain unclear. Musk would not make decisions on job cuts until he assumes ownership of Twitter. Agrawal answered that Twitter has always cared about its employees and would continue to do so.

Twitter further also informed that the 'Work from Home' system will be mandatory for Twitter employees based in our Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea offices due in part to government restrictions, adding that its criteria may evolve as per the situation and it will further keep the employees updated in the matter.

Twitter is laying off 336 employees, or about eight percent of its global workforce of 4,100 people, days after the microblogging giant brought back its co-founder Jack Dorsey as permanent CEO.
