UAE had extended the travel ban, on passengers from 14 countries, till July in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
These 14 countries are Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic Of Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and South Africa.

In addition to the UAE, the countries which have made the cut are the United States, Thailand, Singapore, Qatar, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.

The UAE is one of the six Gulf Cooperation Council states to have agreed to introduce VAT at five percent as they seek to revitalise their economies.
