India has again maintained its neutrality on a UNGA resolution condemning Russia`s annexation of Ukrainian territories
India's Permanent Representative Ruchira Kamboj stated that it was consistent with New Delhi`s "well thought out national position"
The resolution, which received 143 votes, with only five countries voting against it, and 35 abstaining, passed with the required two-thirds majority
India abstained on a UN General Assembly resolution that strongly deplored Russia's aggression.
The resolution was adopted with 141 votes in favour, five Member States voting against and 35 abstentions.
Nearly 100 UN Member States co-sponsored the resolution titled ‘Aggression Against Ukraine'.
