The UPTET 2021 was scheduled to be held on November 28 but was cancelled after a question paper for the exam was leaked. Close to 20 lakh candidates were to appear for the test.
TET exam was to be held in UP. For which more than 20 lakh people had applied. But the paper got leaked before the exam was conducted. After which the exam had to be cancelled.

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 examination scheduled to be held on Sunday was canceled due to an alleged paper leak.
Basic Education Minister Dr Satish Dwivedi said that the state government will conduct the exam again within a month and the paper leak case will be investigated by the STF.
